Firebird is used by approximately 1 million of software developers worldwide. High compatibility with industry standards on many fronts makes Firebird the obvious choice for developing interoperable applications for homogeneous and hybrid environments.
Mailing Lists
Here you can find the mailing lists used by the project team to communicate about the various aspects of the server development. The other mailing lists you might consider useful can be found here.

Primary forum for developers working with the Firebird source code or developing other software (e.g. drivers) and needing the under-the-hood information about the server. It is also the place to report bugs against the unstable (Alpha and Beta) versions. Questions about porting to non mainstream platforms are welcome as well.

Do not use this list for support questions regarding the officially released versions!
